About Us
TechSisters Africa is an initiative of Samgrace Community Initiative designed to help young women (ages 18–24) bring their ideas to life using artificial intelligence.
We discover, train, and support young women who are passionate about solving real problems in their communities, starting in Nigeria and expanding across Africa.
Why TechSisters Africa
TechSisters Africa exists because African women deserve to be at the forefront of the AI revolution. Local challenges require local voices and inclusive innovation, and when young women are empowered to lead with technology, they uplift their families, strengthen their communities, and shape a brighter future for Africa.
Building the Next Generation of African Women in AI
What We Do
TechSisters Africa connects young women with the knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities they need to turn AI-powered ideas into impact.
We focus on four key pillars:
Discovery – We identify young women with ideas that can be strengthened or scaled through the use of AI.
Training – Through our TechSisters AI Bootcamp, participants gain practical knowledge of AI, product design, ethical innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Mentorship – We link participants with mentors and partner organisations across tech, research, and social impact sectors.
Support & Funding – We help participants refine their projects, write grants, and access funding or accelerator opportunities to grow their ideas.
